ABOUT US
Czech Technology Platform of Engineering (CTPE) is a cooperative professional association connecting industrial enterprises, professional associations and unions, educational institutions, research institutions, financial institutions, national public authorities as well as individual members with relation to engineering across the whole Czech Republic.
All these entities are involved in research, development and innovation in a strategically important technological area at the national or international level.
OUR GOALS
In order to fulfill its mission, CTPE is committed to the following goals:
Getting involved in main activities of the European Technology Platform (ETP) Manufuture and other ETPs, mainly:

elaborating a vision of the development of individual fields and the whole sector,

creating a strategy for the development of modern engineering technologies

cooperation in the development of policies and legislation to encourage innovation activities

developing research strategies in the field of engineering

initiating and conducting research in the field of engineering industry

implementation of research and development results in industrial practice.
Raising competitiveness of the Czech economy and support of innovation in the field of engineering industry through the implementation of the above points.
Creating effective conditions for cooperation between research, development and industry in the field of engineering through the initiation and implementation of scientific and technical research and the commercial exploitation of scientific solutions.
Cooperation in the creation of policies and legal regulations related to education in the field of engineering, promotion and support of all levels of education in this area, especially with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and other entities.
